Old Power Plant
Although construction was halted in 1914 with the outbreak of war, when the "Double Lab" opened the next year it not only supplied the University's power but held medical laboratories as well. A newer generation of students knows the Power Plant as the site of a popular pub and restaurant.

The Ring House I
The home of five University presidents over the years, this house was one of 10 builts in the University's early years to serve as homes for its senior faculty members. Used as an art gallery in the '70s and '80s, today it holds the offices of Museums and Collections Services and Learning Systems Enterprises.

Rutherford House
This stately 1910 mansion was originally named "Achmacarry" after the ancestral Scottish home of University founder Alexander Rutherford. The former premier lived in the house until 1940, when it became the Delta Upsilon Fraternity house. Rutherford House remained a fraternity house until 1973, when it became a provincial historic site.
